The third match of Asia Cup Twenty20 (T20) International 2016 was played between Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates at Mirpur. On a bowling friendly track, UAE once again won the toss and opted to bowl first. UAE bowlers did a commendable job in the second half of the first innings by not allowing Bangladeshi batsmen score more runs as they managed only 133 runs with the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. The target was achievable looking at the batting order UAE possesses but once again they collapsed in a similar fashion as they did in their previous match against Sri Lanka. Mahommad Usman played a lone hand of 30 from 30 balls as Bangladesh won the match comfortably with a big margin of 51 runs. With this match, once again several records entered in the record books of cricket in this format of the game. Abhishek Kumar lists out seven interesting statistical highlights from the match.
