Adelaide: Pakistan arrived in Adelaide on Thursday afternoon ahead of their opening clash against arch-rivals India at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. While India played their warm-ups at Adelaide and have been based in the city for some time, Pakistan finished their second warm-up match in Sydney. Pakistan won both their warm-ups against England and Bangladesh. India were beaten by Australia, but ended up winning against Afghanistan. Both those games were played at the Adelaide Oval. Ahead of the big game, Adelaide has been relatively quiet. However, the fans have gradually started flocking to the city for the big game. Most are expected to arrive closer to the game, over the weekend. Pakistan are arriving a couple of days in advance and it may add to the excitement in the city. Meanwhile, India started their practice session after a day’s break in Adelaide. The practice was at the St Peter’s College ground, which is close to the Adelaide Oval. India will practice at the same venue on Friday. Pakistan will not practice on Thursday.
