Junaid Khan (left) is a Pakistani bowler, who made his One-Day International (ODI) debut against West Indies at St Lucia in 2011 and in the same year later, played his first Test against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo.

Junaid Khan (left) is a Pakistani bowler, who made his One-Day International (ODI) debut against West Indies at St Lucia in 2011 and in the same year later, played his first Test against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. A left-arm pacer, he has played 49 ODIs and 18 Tests and has picked up 75 wickets and 65 wickets respectively. He is a cousin of Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah.

Junaid, 25, made it to the national team when he was called up for Pakistan’s 2011 World Cup squad as a late replacement for Sohail Tanvir. He came in the squad with no international experience and did not play in the tournament, but later in April played his maiden ODI. In the same year, he represented Lancashire County Cricket Club in English domestic cricket.

Being a promising young bowler at the U-19 level, Junaid has now become one of Pakistan’s best seamers. Unfortunately, he missed the 2015 World Cup due to an injury. He has also started a cricket academy, known as “Junaid Khan Cricket Academy” in his hometown.

Junaid’s doppelganger on the right is Esteban Granero, a Spanish midfielder, who plays for Real Sociedad in the Liga BBVA. The 27-year old is a Real Madrid youth product, but lacked chances in the first team. He then left for Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in England in 2012 and in 2013, returned to his native for a loan-spell in Sociedad. In 2014, he signed a long-term deal with the team. He has also represented his national team at U-21 level.

Granero is best known for his quick passing and shooting, making him one of the gifted Spanish mid-fielders.
