England have showed sheer dominance to win the ODI series against India by 2-1. England won the series decider comfortably by 8 wickets within 45 overs. Joe Root registered his 13th ton and became the player with most ODI centuries for England. He and Eoin Morgan (88*) added 186 runs to the 4th wicket partnership to take England home. India got off to a poor start in the first innings. Virat Kohli played hard for his 71 but other batsmen failed to deliver which resulted a low target for the host. England have won their 8th consecutive ODI series and also broken India’s streak of 9 ODI series win. Adil Rashid was rewarded the Man of the Match for his spell of 10-0-49-3.
