Born September 25, 1987 Adam Lyth turned 28 on Friday. He has been dropped from the England side following a poor Ashes series. But here we look at one of his heroics in his cricketing career. This was from a North Group match in the domestic Twenty20 competition, NatwestT20Blast. This was from a game between Lancashire and Yorkshire. On June 6, 2014 when Tom Smith came down to hit one over the ropes, the ball looked destined to travel all the way for a maximum before Lyth running in from long on leapt up to hall the ball back in, Aaron Finch who had come some distance from long off was quick to react and pouch the catch to complete the stunner. Lyth revealed that his aim is to make a strong comeback to the England national side after being dropped for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates. The 28-year-old left-hander struggled to find his batting flair during England’s 3-2 Ashes win over Australia. He scored a miserable 115 runs in nine innings. Lyth insisted that he was still good enough to come back and do well at international cricket, Sports24.com reported.The Yorkshire batsman also expressed his disappointment at being dropped but insisted that he hopes to learn from his mistakes and come back stronger next season.
