Rajasthan Royals (RR) were in dire straits at 100 for five in 15 overs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Match 22 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Ahmedabad on Friday. Steven Smith was there to hold the innings together, but for once the young Indian batsmen failed to get going. Smith and Stuart Binny were the batsmen in the middle. After Shane Watson and Ajinkya Rahane were dismissed in quick succession, Karun Nair and Smith batted well to steady the ship. However, Nair was run out for 16 after underestimating the throwing ability of Harhsal Patel from the deep. Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson failed as well, with both batsmen getting bowled by Iqbal Abdulla and Yuzvendra Chahal respectively.
