Michael Leask Biography

Born in Aberdeen, Michael Leask is a hard-hitter who can change the course of a game within a few deliveries and can bowl a few off-spinners now and then and to provide the occasional breakthrough

Leask made his First-Class debut in 2013 and proved his worth in his hometown when he won Man of the Match for his 16-ball 42 in spite of ending up on the losing side in a rain-hit match. Leask also smashed a 46-ball 58 against Netherlands in 2013 — in his third T20I, but once again ended on the losing side.

Leask was picked in the squad for ICC World Cup 2015 after having played just eight games. He also scored 50 on ODI debut against Ireland at Dublin.

Scotland is filled with talented youngsters like Leask but his real talent and temperament can only be known once he starts playing big teams in big tournaments.
