A left-handed batsman from Delhi, Nitish Rana has grown up playing cricket at Feroz Shah Kotla, and has made a handful of First-Class appearances. He has rubbed shoulders with Delhi teammates likes Mithun Manhas, Rajat Bhatia and Shikhar Dhawan in his formative days.
Rana has put up significant contributions in domestic 50-over and 20-over cricket. He is also right-arm off-break bowler and could come handy at time of need.
He was chosen for Mumbai Indians in 2015, and continues to represent the franchise. However, he has been used only as a substitute in IPL in his first season. Rana attributes a lot of his success to his coach Sanjay Bharadwaj, who has been with him through thick and thin.
