Australia tour of West Indies, 2015

Australia will tour the West Indies for a two-Test series, known as The Frank Worrell Trophy in June 2015. This will be Australia’s only Test assignment before they will head to England for the Ashes 2015.

The series that comprises of two Tests between Australia and the West Indies begins on June 3, with the first Test starting at the Windsor Park in Roseau, Jamaica. The second and final Test of the series will be played at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica from June 11-15.

Australia will be captained by Michael Clarke, as the team ranked second in the ICC Test Rankings will aim to close their gap with the top-placed South Africa. For Australia, the tour to the Caribbean will also serve as a good warm-up ahead of the Ashes 2015.

The West Indies showed remarkable improvement in their home series against England, and they will aim to keep producing spirited performances. The West Indies drew their three-Test series against England 1-1, with the first Test ending in a thrilling draw and the next two Tests being won by England and the hosts respectively.
