ICC World Twenty20 2014

The ICC World T20 2014 is upon us. The fifth edition of the World T20 begins on March 16 and ends on April 6. Bangladesh are the host nation. West Indies are the winners from the previous edition and will be looking to become the first team to successfully defend their title. India had won the inaugural edition in 2007 in South Africa. Pakistan won in 2009 in England. In 2010, the tournament was held in the Caribbean and England were the winners. A total of 10 teams will play in the tournament proper starting from March 21 as India take on arch-rivals Pakistan. The venues are Sylhet, Chittagong and Mirpur.
